Importer of home and decoration items

Even before 1978 the retail company BLOKKER already developed wholesale activities.
In the early seventies the quantities that were bought in the Far East (in order to get the best price) were too big for the number of shops at that time. The surplus was sold to third parties.

In 1978 this Wholesale and Import/Export activity was given its actual name ‘TREND-CENTER’.

In the early years most of the goods went to Dutch wholesalers. Shortly afterwards the German market followed. As from the late seventies Trend-Center had its own stand at the Frankfurt fair.

In the early eighties Trend-Center started doing business in other Western European countries. Now not only selling surplus stock, but doing its proper buying and developing new items. The new collections were presented and sold mainly at fairs in Frankfurt and Paris.

Today, Trend-Center has become an independent company and has extended its activities worldwide.
